Criteria
Information for Participation
Eligible for the Awards are scientific and research networks or businesses that bring together Greeks all over the world.
The evaluation of the proposals will be conducted by the Evaluation Committee, on the basis of the information provided electronically by the candidates.
The Implementing bodies and the Evaluation Committee do not bare any responsibility for the content or lack of it provided by the candidates and may affect their eligibility.
After the conclusion of the evaluation process, candidates will be informed about the results.
By submitting an application at the Bridges Awards the candidates automatically accept the terms and conditions of participation and the evaluation process.

Submission
Award applications are exclusively submitted electronically at awards.knowledgebridges.gr in accordance with the specific instructions provided in the website, by September 16th 2019 17:00pm.
For a valid application, candidates must complete the electronic application and provide all requested attached forms and documentation.
Candidates of both types of Awards (scientific networks or business partnership) must previously have subscribed to the “Knowledge and Partnership Bridges” platform.
Possible award winners after the successful completion of evaluation will be timely notified so that they be able to submit additional/complementary credentials or documentation proving the validity of the eligibility criteria.

Criteria
Those eligible to apply for participation in the 'Bridges Awards of Scientific Networks' are networks already meeting overall the following conditions of participation:
They involve the cooperation of members in one or more disciplines to implement joint actions, for example, promote scientific synergies, sharing information, finding new solutions to address important issues on research and society, or the optimisation and further exploitation of research, scientific and technological results.
They already are in cooperation or are individual networks.
They should be non-profit in formal or informal legal form and governed by statute or other private co-operation agreement which stipulates at least the purpose, members and the representation of the network.
They consist of at least fifteen (15) natural persons, including at least three (3) living and working in Greece and at least eight (8) residing and working abroad (one or more countries need to be represented). The country of residence is considered as country of representation.
The total minimum number of members (15) should meet the following requirements:
They are a) Greek citizens or b) foreign nationals of Greek origin or c) foreign nationals with at least three (3) years of legal residence in Greece (consecutive or not) prior to the application date.
They are university graduates.
They have lived and worked in the country they represent (Greece or abroad) for at least one (1) continuous year.
Those eligible to apply for participation in the ' Bridges for Business Partnerships ' awards should be business partners meeting the following conditions of participation:
They consist of at least two (2) parties, natural persons or legal entities.
They relate to an existing or new business cooperation, formal or informal legal form, designed to produce a product or provide services in Greece or both in Greece and abroad.
They have a statute or other private cooperation agreement to which at least the purpose, scope, duration, the place of manufacture of the product or the service, the parties and their representation is stated.
At least one of the parties (in the case of the participation of legal entities, the legal representative or managing director or partner or main shareholder) meets the following requirements:
They are a) Greek citizens or b) foreign nationals of Greek origin or c) foreign nationals with at least three (3) years of legal residence in Greece (consecutive or not) prior to the application date.
They are university graduates.
They have worked in the country they represent (Greece or abroad) for at least one (1) continuous year.
Evaluation
The evaluation is carried out by the Evaluation Committee and consists of the following three stages:
